We have recently delivered our People & Team Management training course and I attended as a delegate to help improve my own management skills! I never thought delegation was an issue but there are clearly positive & negative ways of doing it! Would love to hear examples of your delegation experiences.

Having just finished delivering our first programme of six bitesized sales courses, I am very pleased with how they went. I'm interested in any thoughts or comments from my 10 lovely delegates. Also a general question to throw out there about the pros and cons of delivering sales training in 2 hour bitesized chunks over 6 weeks. We're running 3 more programmes in 3 locations this year so need to be constantly improving.

In our Voice of Business survey, reflecting the view of 700 Sussex businesses we found the following opinions.

A third of businesses say that skills shortages have been a major constraint on their business growth in the last 12 months. 76% have experienced at least one skills shortage over the same period.

A third says there is a lack of management skills in the workplace and 32% believe there is a lack of IT skills. Does this reflect your experience of the labour market?

The only thing worse than training your staff and having them leave, is not training them and having them stay. What do businesses feel about this sentiment.
